Our Objectives

We serve the citizens of Morinville and Cardiff by working in partnership with the R.C.M.P. and the community. We provide additional eyes and ears by patrolling our community and reporting any suspicious activity or noting suspicious persons or vehicles.

What's New

Combating theft from vehicles in Morinville.

In December, 2009 C.O.P. volunteers launched an ongoing awareness campaign to help combat theft from vehicles. In addition to the regular patrols of the residential streets and alleys, business and industrial areas of Morinville, our volunteers are patrolling parking lots in Morinville looking for any vehicles that may be vulnerable to thieves.

Volunteers leave information sheets on each vehicle in a parking lot. These sheets will thank drivers who have taken steps to prevent vehicle crime and point out obvious problems to those who have not. The goal is to remind motorists to reduce the likelihood of their vehicle becoming a target of crime.

2010 Trade Show

The annual Morinville Trade Show will take place April 16 - 18, 2010. C.O.P. is planning to participate with a small booth. Drop by and say hello to one of our volunteers.

Next Meeting

The next monthly meeting will be at 19:00 hrs (7:00pm) Monday, April 12th at the Town of Morinville building staff lunch room on the main floor. Entry is via the employees only door at the rear of the building. Come out and meet us.
